This album is insanely catchy, what is wrong with all of you! Have you no idea what this album was made for? It was made for the charts, and for the mainstream and it is excellent for what it is created for. Stop judging it like it is supposed to be a classic rock album. Zeppelin's not going to get much love if were trying to rate it as a bluegrass album. Her voice is actually good, and I'm not one of those people who watch the Party Possie episode of the Simpsons and believe that machines can instantly make people sound good. She has a pretty good voice for pop music.
If this was any other pop singer other than Paris Hilton, you would not be so harsh on it.
I'm not the one that gave you a neg, but if I were to guess it might be because you spent alot of the review writing about her lyrics like you expect her to be Bob Dylan. Then you go on to compare her to Christina Aguilera and still end up giving the album a 2.This Message Edited On 09.01.06

umm... Goodo... I have said that I only heard whatever the hell the single is and thought vocals were fine... and I do believe the party possie thing because Machines do ACTUALLY change your voice completely-- i.e. Jennifer Lopez. But if you read what most people are writing, they dislike the album for its self-obsessed outlook on herself. Most agree that it is catchy pop but they rate it harshly because the lyrics are just disgusting. I know many do rate it low because it is Hilton, but many others look at the lyrics... dude I read them... they are ridiculous.

I wrote a fair bit about the lyrics because they are a stand-out part of the album. They are very in-your-face and are delivered in a similar manner. They feature much more prominently than the instruments.
I didn't rate this a two because it's Paris Hilton: I rated it two because I believe it to be worthy of a two. There are a couple of catchy songs on it but even viewing it as a made-for-the-charts Pop album it is by no means a stellar effort.

it's "artists" (use the term loosely) like this who really shit me big stylee...because of money they have and because of who they are, they can release music which is nothing more than a fad, which will earn them even more money....while REAL artists who write decent tunes that actually mean something struggle and get no-where because they ain't got money to pursue their dream...it's quite sad really.
This is music was made by someone who only wants to make music because they can, not because they love it.

Yeah, she obviously learned how to sing so she could make more money instead of the far more obvious explanation that she just likes music.
actually, I think she just put out an album because she's an attention whore that loves attention.
I'm pretty sure this album ain't that bad though. I mean she has a lot of money meaning she can hire the best to help her make an album thats actually worth listening to.
