Isn't a 2 being alittle too generous?

This review was hot. I'm no pop expert, but for some reason I was always under the impression that Paris Hilton was actually pretty decent as far as pop goes. Meh, I could easily be wrong since I haven't even heard anything off the album.

I'm so glad I took the time to listen to this album. ALL THIS TIME I thought Paris was a virgin. I'm so glad she cleared that up.

I think I got an STD just from looking at the album cover.

Like Paris Hilton's racoon like face?

Wow...a 1.5 rating. Im suprised you listened to this whole album Metalicaman doesn't seem like the type of music you'd be interested in.

The singing is in no way bad on the only track I've heard (Stars Are Crazy). She sounds like Gwen Stefani.

A lady friend of mine downloaded the whole thing. I had her burn me a copy and listened to it all the way through just to give it a negative rating . That's how I role.

HA HA HA STD FROM LOOKING AT THE COVER-- CLASSIC.
Anyway, I agree El_ _GOODO that her singing was rather good, but like I mentioned before it was probably all machines that cleared up her voice-- and if i am wrong and that is her singing, well I will give her that she does have a good voice. That still doesn't stop her for being a dispicable person.

Volunteer beat me to it. I was about to ask if it was possible to catch a venereal disease from an mp3.

I've heard two of the songs off this album and that was enough to convince me not to buy this album. Paris Hilton is basically like a more egotistical Hillary Duff.

Rofl, nice. You should spend more time in the music reviews instead of the smelly forums.

...I actually don't mind the T.V show "The Simple Life". It's fun to watch Paris continually fail at stuff.

i definitely want to listen to that song again and actually pay attention to the lyrics. Man, some of you are just so disgusted I need to feel that too.

Its sad to say but, The single Stars Are Blind IMO isnt that bad. I think it could have been ALOT worse.

Musically speaking it's not that bad. Really good producers will do that for you.

But with the singing and lyrics, the self-indulgent egotism is way too much to bear.

My thoughts exactly. Well, not exactly I couldn't say it that well. Dumb it up a bit and my thoughts exactly.

Again, you can't talk about large egos affecting your musical perception and then name yourself after Metallica.

Metallicaman, I could very well be wrong, but I find it unlikely you've heard this album (and loads of other pop and rap records) enough to rate them all 1's and 1.5's.

I actually haven't seen that much evidence that suggests that Metallica have that large of an ego. Perhaps there have been occasions on television or wherever that show that they do. I myself haven't though, haven't.

And yes you are wrong. Surprisingly enough I have heard every song from this album, as I mentioned on the last page and every song from every other rap/pop records that I've rated. I don't blame you for doubting that though

Have you ever read/seen ANY interview with Lars? Have you heard about how James treated Jason Newsted? How about Napster? Have you seen Some Kind of Monster? To say that Metallica has shown no evidence of having overly large egos is horrificly oblivious.

Have you ever read/seen ANY interview with Lars?

No, I haven't. Though I did see a video on youtube where Lars had his driver pull the car over so he could sign autographs for some fans.

Have you heard about how James treated Jason Newsted?

I have, though I'm fairly certain people exagerate. Not to mention while Jason was in the band James had a drinking problem, which he recently rid himself of. Any unfair treatment towards Jason was most likely alcohol endused and James really being himself.

How about Napster?

While it may seem it was an uncool thing to do to sue Napster they did have every right as their music was being stolen. Also, in a recent article in Rolling Stones magazine it was proclaimed that Metallica are putting their music up on Itunes, so they are becoming more internet friendly.

Have you seen Some Kind of Monster?

I've seen about a half an hour of it. The portion that I saw was the band quarreling amongst themselves, which is natural when at a rough patch like that in their career.
