Nice rewrite my dude. The first review was solid but this one reads a lot better, flows really nice. Excellent work!

Thanks man, means a lot. I went way overboard with the history lesson on the first review haha. Gotta keep it concise.

Do it up Steaky boi. Feel like you might be a bit disappointed first listen but it's a huge grower. Definitely more in the same vein as the sophomore alb which I know you weren't crazy about

"It's a grower"
*Drops album rating* lol
Album is good, didn't hit me the way I was hoping it would though, and I can already tell that it will fall out of rotation pretty fast.

Lol after spinning it all day it's a tough one for me. Honestly Great Grief and Atone are much better than most of this. Solid album for sure, but I'm afraid I agree with you.
Absolutely love the t/t, Bite Through My Tongue and Those That I'm Survived By tho. Space Between is amazing too.

everyone on the r/metalcore reddit loves casey, but i found this album pretty bland and boring and very little to come back to.

It's great but could have been much better, especially considering the quality of the return singles.

Casey needs context for me, when I'm at my happiest, their music does absolutely nothing for me, and I listen to a lot of sad music to begin with... LINE dropped exactly when I was going through an emotional rollercoaster and it resonated with me greatly, and then once all was well, I just never revisited it.
The year is 2024, and I find myself at the exact same place, older, probably not much wiser, but the adjustments they've made and sort of calming things down make this the soundtrack of staring at walls. And when I've managed to figure it out, I'll probably ignore it's existence until the next heartbreak comes around.

i'm finding this is growing off me fast now that the excitement of their first LP drop since their return has faded. not finding many highlights that stick with me, and the back half is pretty forgettable outside of Puncture Wounds

Just listened through the whole thing again and I swear there’s like 6-7 tracks that are closer track worthy lol. Would honestly put the opener as the closer, not sure why they put it first with how massive of a track it is

| |
Album Rating: 3.5
I dunno Unique Lights works perfectly as a opener imo, and I Was Happy When You Died ties back in with the closer brilliantly
This is like the hardest 3.7 ever. Wish us plebs could use interval ratings.

Three tracks in, this is not for me. It's pretty and well produced but can't vibe with it.

Bummer you couldn't vibe with it Dewi. At least give the closer a listen, its definitely the best song here!
