mmm... I want to say I agree but then lots of albums over an hour long start to pop in my mind and I refrain from it. Some names poppin: Ocean Machine:Biomech, Colored Sands, Riitiir, Alice in Chains, The Corpse of Rebirth, Empath, A Umbra Omega, Oceanic...

Most of my favorite albums are over an hour but I also love a lean 40 min record too. Just depends. I definitely could see this particular album getting trimmed a bit but I still love it

Winterkalte, Dead As Dreams, The Mantle, Echoes of Battle, Verisakeet, and Blackwater Park come to mind as hour+ faves but...I could also list dozens that I'm glad didn't drag on. All depends.
