Look, I’d defend my “Chad ambient enjoyer” credentials, but it’d be hopeless in the face of such withering criticism.
I might also add that a lot of the promo round this release focused on the spiritual jazz angle, and I feel like this work needs to be evaluated within that tradition as well if the intent was to produce something that sits within it, instead of treating it solely as ambient.
