Personally thought New Romantics decent enough.

Being a Swift fan must be utterly exhausting, idk how her fans can shell out so much time, energy and money like they do. Celebrity worship is a helluva drug.

yeah ngl just keeping up with this rerecording project to the point that I could write on this was a huge drain. still dig this record, but have easily had enough t swift for at least the next 6 months

Between the Eras tour madness, the NFL absolutely drooling over her, and the rerecordings, I’ve had enough of her for like 10+ years. It’s overload to the point of parody.

Like, no other artist has young people dropping thousands in non-expendable income to go to another continent to see her. I have at least three coworkers who dropped several thousand to fly to EU to see her and then also complain that they have no money and can’t afford their current living situation.

just wait another 10 years for taylor to be president and phoebe bridgers to hit her current level
|
| |
I’ll hit you up for a cheeky pint when that happens
|
| |
taylor could do punisher but phoebe could never do 1989!

Amazing that Swift's voice just keeps getting plainer and blander every time she releases new material or re-records old material. She's like the equivalent of a typical Starbucks order, down to the inflated price.
|
| |
venin whats is your starbies order?
|
| |
I usually skip Starbucks entirely, unless I'm in a Target so I can take advantage of their free refills. But I usually just get raspberry tea. Not much a coffee fan.

For me, it's all about that venti iced coffee with half-and-half and sugar free vanilla. Still tastes good, and doesn't destroy the diet in the process

When is she gonna like, idk...fuck off?

Sad to report that Wildest Dreams is the only re-recording on here that I’ve liked so far - thematically, it makes sense that she’d get better with this song as time goes on. She’s outgrow a lot of these songs like she doesn’t have the green eyes to sing Welcome to New York and she isn’t as an immature as she needs to be to pull off Shake It Off. How You Get the Girl is like cleaner and she does do a good job but, as someone said, feels even more streamlined as if by AI or something. Perhaps it’s a good thing even Style sounds off as that would mean she’s for sure over that boy Harry.
It’s not like Fearless where she was still basically a kid getting her bearings down, there was a lot to gain from her re-recording that.

Is Welcome to New York still the worst opener ever
