New Trophy Eyes is probably the best of the bunch that I listed, but I would’ve preferred more of a return to form a la Chemical Miracle. Still listen to My Inheritance regularly.
@Project
Fireworks was pretty dec iirc - was the first I’d ever listened to them. Will have to look into Classic Crime though - never read that name before lol.
And maybe not that far into noodly territory, but DIT is easily in my top 3 of the year so far.

On first listen, I really like the opener, the song after that and Try. The rest is fine, I guess, but they did not make an impression on me at all.

this is good.

Much preferred Greg's solo record. Tom tracks are probably the strongest here especially the first two. Second half is really weak.

Based on the singles...not really tho.

positive charge and history books are both better than every song here agreed

Stunfisk!
The production on the new Gaslight is even worse than on this, though the songs themselves have been nice so far.

Digging this a lot. Nothing spectacular but I guess it's cool this band is consistent. I'd out this on par with Hello Exile/Rented World. Come On Heartache is great as well as Ultraviolet and Alone In Dublin.

As a massive menzos fan I’m definitely a little letdown. Half of the songs are pretty damn forgettable and the melodies are really starting to sound uninspired. The wtf moment for me was Take It to Heart. That’s the closest they’ve ever come to butt rock, right? Surely some good moments here too but initial rating for me is a hard 3.35
