the dm track is my favourite song of theirs. kinda hoped it would be part of a full length, but that's ok.

Hawks missed our meetup due to private obligations. That’s unfortunate. I was going to be able to lie that I’d beaten him up in the Cannibal Corpse mosh pit. Alas, it could not be.

Lmao love u.

Shouldn't be rated higher than the new cannibal corpse or like 10 other great full lengths from this year like It is tho it's a 2 track ep/single lol. But I've always found this band widely overrated anyway so no surprises

I get you. I just feel like blood Incantation have always been overhyped they are a good band but when you compare them to their peers great bands like tomb mold, mortiferum, worm etc etc they don't get half the attention blood Incantation do. Its just a fact. Maybe it's cause they've never been a personal favorite of mine but I think these other bands deserve the attention blood Incantation get. They are definition of overrated to me not because theyre bad but because other great bands in the scene don't get a quarter of the recognition they do

I also prefer Tomb Mold and Worm, but Blood Incantation's first two albums are also God tier

i think tomb mold get a good amount of attention as well, similarly they also have good shirt designs. Actually don't think that's a coincidence either.

While i do tend to agree w you goodolboy, BI grinds and tours all year, every year (sans pandemic obvs) for the better part of the past decade. They also are consistently releasing new music. Those bands you’re talking about (some of my other favs) aren’t nearly as prolific on the touring side/dropping new tunes as BI. Visibility is key these days.

case in point i've seen this band three times in the last two years and i don't even like them that much.

Different opinions about the music aside, I don’t really understand what the issue is with a metal group selling shirts or merch in general. You know these guys do this music thing full time and make like 5 cents for every track that people stream right?

ramon.

feeling pretty called out as someone who hasn't really given these guys much attention since starspawn but does in fact own a BI tee
