Ok will you forgot about a bit more well thought out. Ya they both do raw raw but their not the same band. I used to listen to Otep in my high school days so yes I do know what they sound like. But here's the thing I find SOAD more unique then Otep especially style wise. Vocal wise it's just a heavier more uninteresting version of Kittie for me. (and I warmed up to Kittie and like them now) I think most people will understand what I mean. Yes people are going to think their shit no matter how much you like them. No politics isn't the only reason probably not even the main reason. Sorry if this is you're last chapter, but really try to understand what you think what makes them great many will not agree. I mean it doesn't hurt my feelings that people shit on Godsmack and I still like them. (Not so much their newer stuff though)

Okay, that makes more sense haha. Thanks for explaining that. My feelings are unscathed don’t worry lol. The comparison to Kittie is fair

"He called me a dyke, I called him an ambulance" remains one of the funniest lyrics I've ever heard.

Otep vs Ronnie Radke would be a great Celebrity Deathmatch. Rather it's real or the cartoon. tehe

heated Otep discourse on sput was not on my bingo card for 2023. It kind of makes up for how lame this album is.

I think comparing Otep and SOAD as far as political lyrics is a bit weird because Otep always wears her politics on her sleeve while SOAD have a lot of abstracted lyrics about women flying into the sun and pizza pies, so when they get political it's easier to take with a grain of salt I guess and it's not as cringey and intrusive. It also helps that SOAD were a better band
