I dig this, spun it 3 times today. My favorites are Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl, Making the Bed, Love Is Embarrassing, and Pretty Isn't Pretty. She needs to vary up her vocal melodies tho especially on ballads cause they are all starting to sound the same lol. Get Him Back is really bad tho I don't like that one at all

yeah that, Bad Idea and the phoebeisms all over Making the Bed were the only ones that actively rubbed me the wrong way i think
Lacy has somewhat fallen off since i started paying attention to the lyrics, and Homeschooled Girl is maybe a little short on staying power hm. starting to think Pretty Isn't Pretty is the best thing on here by a mile (even if it is a straight 1979 rip with a 4 Non Blondes chorus thrown in to seal the deal)

I hated Bad Idea as a single, but it sounds much better in context.
Get Him Back initially rubbed me the wrong way, but now I enjoy how ridiculously stupidly over-the-top it is.
After several spins, my track ranking would be something like:

get him back is awful, bad idea right is worse.
i like this a bit better than SOUR but I still don't see how this is groundbreaking or anything. if avril lavigne released this same album, I'm confident it would not get this much of a positive reception. rodrigo's influences are so far in your face that it is hard for me to see past them and pinpoint true originality. she also needs to branch out with her subject matter.

this is pretty stinky. I can deal with pretty mediocre lyricism when the music is interesting. These lyrics make me feel uncomfortable, like reading a 14 year old girls diary.
