"And this band has like one good album and one good EP"

Empire and Deceiver are both far, far better than anything SWS did. Hell I’d even throw Life Cycles in there too

I really don't think I've heard TWA's first two E.P.'s in full so I'll have to check since everybody seems to adore those. But also...let's not forget SWS's acoustic EP, that thing fucking slaps
|
| |
It does! I dig SWS’s first two quite a bit as well
|
| |
All these bands came out long after I had jumped ship on the whole pop metalcore thing so it all sounds like rehashes of bands like a skylit drive, who I wasn’t even crazy about back in the day either

That's fair, it's definitely a bye and gone era that we still see remnants of time to time. It's kind of evolved into something more palatable now which is good.
|
| |
I'm not hating this tbh
|

Get back to sasscore betch
|

Is it crazy if I say this is the band's best album?

It's definitely their most diverse album and to that effect, their most interesting record sonically. But hey if you're digging it, more power to you my friend :D

is this worth hearing if i thought Monomania was boring and mid as fuck

It's better than Monomania for sure, but then again, just about anything is better than Monomania. It's not a massive improvement but there are some of those heavier elements from their early era sprinkled in.

That's what I'm checking out right this moment. It's definitely an improvement over the last few records but still doesn't live up to their early glory days.
|
| |
Well their glory days are nearly 2 decades ago and they only have 1 of the remaining band members from them, so I am not the least bit surprised!
