Really didnt like how whiney Brave Faces was despite loving Schmaltz. Not sure I am going to check this one out. I might though just because I enjoyed their "doom & gloom" cover of Smile Like You Mean It.
The band really took a huge plunge into a "woe is me, life is so tough and unfair" stance on their last album and if this is more of the same I really dont care to hear it.

“I don’t understand how this is a 2.”
The very same way “Futures” was originally a “2”.
An axe , a whetstone, and the will to grind it into less than a haft.
Futures was a 5.0 straight out of the gate for anyone with ears
to hear and the will to process what they heard, btw.
I can see this as getting 5.0 too.
I’m 4.7~5.0-ing it myself, personally.

Unreal album. Makes me wonder why they aren't huge.

Very good band that I’ve for some reason ignored up until recently.

I'm music first and never pay much attention to lyrics until much later.
This release is musically less interesting then their two previous albums.
Nothing really sticks out even after several listens.

Some fantastic lyrics throughout this, but it just sounds like they decided to try and be a Gang of Youths/The National crossover and it’s not working for me
