I don't need anything deep from deathcore, but a touch of variety wouldn't hurt, especially when said lack of variety is poorly produced. Heavy can be fun, but heaviness on its own usually falls flat when done for too long.

First thought when I listened to this was that they were riffing a lot from Black Tongue. It's heavy just to sound heavy. As long as the subwoofer is rumbling or I'm getting tinnitus in my ear buds, who cares about the quality.
