Once I watched the first season of Rhythm + Flow and they talked a LOT about how lyrics are important but not nearly as important as *ahem* flow. I've realized since then that "bad" lyrics or underwritten lyrics or immature lyrics really only bother me if the MC can't ride the fucking beat. And Travis Scott cannot ride the beat. The whole time I'm listening to this I think "What if any decent MC had these beats" and I can't shake that feeling.
