I actually agree about the debut in terms of the rather bland melodies included. SAW Vol. II on the other hand is at least way more of an innovative record than most of the "Berlin School" output typically associated with ambient as a genre (besides Eno) and builds up a very distinctive atmosphere.

Btw, that Druqks doesn't represent AFX at a peak as a producer has never been exactly an outlier opinion.

I like drugs and rdj album more than either saw album, this is kinda in between. Not totally sold on some of the garage-y syncopation goin on but it's neat fs
