This remains my least fave Oxbow since KotJ, but then I haven't actually checked back since experiencing some of these cuts live, so maybe there's some potential for growth here?
I don't expect this to perform particularly strongly in the AOTY ballot, so for tactical reasons I will abstain from making this one of my final entries. The modest points total I'd be assigning likely won't amount to much. Sorry Oxbow, I still love you

Where old oxbow would have you nailed to the chair of a rollercoaster with a bad track record, this seems more content to clearly articulate and flesh out sounds and ideas without obfuscating them into oblivion with measure and a half romps and Eugenes’s schizophrenic ramblings. A singular-minded record, to be sure, but also refined, tasteful, and lovely.
