My retirement age boomer that only listens to terrestrial cumulus 500 classic rock radio and all these revival acts are like duck on a waters back. I kinda get it, he wants the time capsule feeling not novelty. Last new act he got into was Jack White, ofc, but now he got Pandora on 'the big TV' and blasts twee stomp-clap~wooah" milllenial fuccboi indie bands. baffling

played some of this album and he couldn't care less.
Personally I'm too old for the posturing and tribalism, to me this music's in a vacuum and this is a step up from acts like Wolfmother or The Darkness. Garden's Gate was legitimately well crafted and mature for this style too. still processing this one but I don't hate it
