@Sowing honestly sometimes I wish I could step back into your shoes. Becoming a more competent musician has made a lot of music lose its shine to me (don’t get me wrong, this is still a very solid release)

A lot of this is very competently done and enjoyable. Overall good mix, good production and execution. A lot of the vocal meter on each track gets very repetitive and could use some variation to make it more interesting. But your vocals and lyrics are very good and compelling.

That first track is such a tease. It builds and builds and never pays off. Perfect setup and ingredients for an open chord screamo climax that never arrives. So disappointing because everything leading up to what could be a crushing ending is very good.

The breakdown on track 2 feels shoehorned and jarring in context. I'm not sure it really adds a positive element to the experience, other than an, oh okay that's unexpected.

The deathcore vocals overall don't really fit all that great IMO. The Japanese is nice maybe a bit alienating, but fills the part nice. Song three is one of the least memorable compared to the other two, but those lyrics sure are dark and compelling.

Overall this is very good, but it's also maybe a bit unfinished sounding, and unresolved throughout. Some really good ideas and excellent execution, but there is something lacking to the overall songwriting that made me say, oh that's it?, throughout. Left me wanting a little more fleshed out and complete songwriting.

This but unironically. I love me some overly long, cringe-inducingly emo titles lol

My bad Kodama, I’ll try to think of a longer title next time.

I know it was referenced earlier as potentially out-of-place, but I love the deathcore influence. Deathmo? I'm here for it.
