I still listen to them frequently but im just too lazy to change my avatar. Dont even know how. Before this year, the last time I was on sput was like 2013 maybe ? I just finally have a life stable enough and a job where I can listen to music, to listen to a lot of music again



I remember some of the old reviewers in the time were like Deviant, sohby , DFelon ,etc



Sputnik does feel much more empty now. I feel like a lot of people transitioned to RYM

Yeah, seems to be that way unfortunately. Luckily there are still a handful of cool people here that keep me around, which is more than I can say about RYM.

And yesss calm Glare is still my #1 on here and probably my favorite song by them in general. The atmosphere is just so good on this album.

The avi thing has been bugging me for months now. Miss seeing new avis from the bros and some guys who had one lost theirs entirely, now they can't even set up a new one. Sputpocalypse was the beginning of the end I'm afraid.

I'm not a new users which is kinda funny. But it does indeed suck for all the new users. I need to listen to Ostraca it seems. Always enjoyed some skramz

I missed that and curious what happened. I still remember having good times back in the days. Hence why I came back now. I still look both here and RYM to try to find new stuff



Also, I just feel like it is so weird to me that albums ten years ago could get 1k votes and now you look at 2022 charts and you are like barely past 200-300. Anyway, I need to stop talking like an old man

Basically the site got hacked by a user named gasemall and a ton of people got all their ratings/comments/avis scrubbed. Thankfully the mods were able to salvage most of it, but mx disabled the ability to update info (avis essentially) for safety precautions. I believe the hacker set his pfp as anime cp, and therefore ruined everyone's freedom to change theirs to something less abhorrent, or anything for that matter.



Luckily Chip survived the attack.

As far as this album goes, I’m not sure that I was expecting it to be so completely melodic but that’s what they gave me. It’s no IV but pretty damn close from a quality perspective. Hope it isn’t their last record. I hope last = survive and not the end.
