I actually think that Tom is a really sharp guy.



He clearly knows how to rap and I think in another life he honestly could just be what Machine Gun Kelly was before his pop-punk pivot, but he chased a bag by selling his morals to appeal to chuds. Collaborating with the likes of Blaire White and Ben Shapiro and Adam Callhoun....dude honestly carries all of them and I think credit where credit is due, he knows how to make sticky punchlines and some catchy choruses.



I'm super far to the left but "they riot in the streets/and you defunded the police/so there's no one to protect you" is, like, a legitimately hilarious line that is the sorta thing you can only write if you're actually smart enough to not believe actually believe the bullshit you're peddling. He knows what he is saying has no basis in reality but he just keeps hammering his thumb on the scale.



I think he had beef with Mac Lethal a few years ago and if I remember correctly, he kinda won without making it about any rightwing talking points.



Idk, I kinda find Tom MacDonald to be funny because it's so obvious that he's a grifter collecting rightwing checks but they hold him up as someone that proves he somehow bucks the "right wingers don't make good art" argument.

That’s the thing tho, they’re all grifters. Ben Shapiro is a smart man. He says dumb shit but uses big brain words because that’s where the money is at for him. Same with Candace Owens, she gets to be the token black woman that conservatives can point to and say they’re not racist. She was also literally a democrat before Trump. She saw a lane to success, and despite how unethical it is, she capitalized on it. Most of these pieces of shit are at least above average intelligence.


Except Steven Crowder, I do think he is legitimately dumb as shit, and also extremely unfunny despite being a “comedian”.

Ben is sorta at a weird crossroads where I am not sure if I would so much call him a grifter so much as I would that he is spineless. He's fairly vocal, relatively speaking, about his criticisms of the GOP and Trump but then he just handwaves those away being painting made up boogeymen from "the left". I also do think that he is actually a fairly dumb person. I believe he believes what he believes. Outside of his obvious business acumen, I don't think he's all that bright. I legitimately might say that Tom MacDonald is smarter lol
