I just don’t get why this was necessary

There are a certain subset of people (myself included) that would welcome a more "up-to-date" production of this album. What we got wasn't quite what I expected, though.

you can't convince me The Eagle Nature remix is an actual official product lmao, it sounds horrid. It somehow feels like a 128k bad rip

Pretty disappointed as this could have been so much more. Idk if I'd consider this mix is better than the original. Guess you can't polish a turd.

The original is a masterpiece

I still cannot rate this. Same great tracks, but...it doesn’t sit right with me.
Should’ve added some guest rappers instead of a few guitar solos here and there, some techno beats, and a duet with Dua Lipa.

Original is 100% a masterpiece. One my all time favorites but the mix is one of Scott Burns worst. Seems Paul over corrected with this guitar tone, over trebly on the original now it just sound flat and sucked dry.

Okay: Focus (Taylor’s Version) has a few high points, but overall, I believe this was unnecessary.

Ha ha. I can see that play on words "(Taylor's Version)" being another weird Periphery album title.

"you can't convince me The Eagle Nature remix is an actual official product lmao, it sounds horrid. It somehow feels like a 128k bad rip"
That's how this absolute failure of a remix sounds to me, not just The Eagle Nature. It's a crime against the original album, I still don't know what they were thinking releasing this as a selling product. They should have released this for free or 'name your price' in bandcamp cause it can't be taken as an alternative to the original in any way. They could have also re-issued the original with some goodies and add this as a bonus, but never as a standalone product. Feels like a cashgrab this way tbh... But I like Paul very much so I think I'll forgive him for this (if it was actually his idea)
The only part in this whole thing that seems upgraded somehow is the sea soundscape at the start I'm But a Wave to lol. It reminds me of those Full HD BOOM Library sounds of nature kind of release.

the original is definitely a little rough but the main instruments are very clear and sound good. this sounds pretty much like a demo from what i remember
