"Crowd reaction to these songs once they add them to the tour setlist is gonna be interesting."

"we love you" seems to already be a fan favorite based on the couple times they've played it.

halfway through the album rn, cosmic is actually stunning"

Can't imagine the whiplash when they transition from one of these songs to "Bat Country" or something

Only thing holding this back from being a 4.5 is the two singles. Other than that this is amazing. Thank you AX7 for making me eat a bag of shit because I legitimately thought this was gonna be the worst thing I've heard in years based on those two songs.

"nobody" is kinda ass but "we love you" slapssss

think my main complaint with this album after one listen is i think it really coulda used one more normal-ish "mattel" sorta song in the back half of the tracklist, preferably in between "d" and the t/t

What the hell, how many mainstream bands have this much artistic aspiration. Lost hope with this band with that Metallica cover album but this is actually intresting.

Yeah I didn't really know what to think at first and was puzzled but then I decided to hop on the ride. Weird lyrical choices here and there but the way the songs kind of tool around makes for so many good surprises

Took some serious guts to drop Nobody and We Love You as singles

I was expecting this to be completely shit but this was amazing. The mixing is still really iffy though.

I’m either going to hate or love this album from what I’ve seen so far

Yeah the mix holds it back quite a bit, especially how the vocals sit on top and aren't glued in well. But for some reason the charm to this was immediate

I might really slap a five on this.

I wish there were more heavy moments since it seems like Matt got his scream back but that’s clearly not what they were going for. Easier is really the only weak link to me and even that’s a great track.

exactly alex, i was expecting it to have more of a rocker towards the end - i thought the t/t was going to be just that

i love the fact they strictly keep the t/t classical, and end the album with it no less.

T/t is perfect agreed and also agree that a banger right before it would have been nice.
