Never listened to anything by these guys from before, but this sounds pretty immaculate 2 songs in. New Enslaved was fucking fantastic, this sounds like it could be great as well, what's with all of these Norwegian geezers from the 90s pulling out shit like this in 2023? Wish I could find a new band that experimented like these 2 bands do, if anyone has recs, I'm all ears.

Think this has become my AOTY so far, been rinsing it completely lately. Got a few things coming up later in the year that could knock it off the top, but it's gonna be difficult for sure. It's such a weird yet catchy piece of experimental metal with some killer instrumentals and production.

I got bored after the first few minutes, sounded like your run of the mill atmoblack. I did a quick sift through the other tracks, and was really surprised when I heard these alternative/avant-garde elements that really make it stand out. Boy, am I glad I did, this is really good stuff.

I strongly dislike the dramatic wailing tormented vocals, but everything else is super interesting. There are a bunch of different genres on here that these guys blend seamlessly. I could've done without at least the penultimate track though, which I just can't vibe with unfortunately as a whole. I wish I could 4.5 this but I don't think that's on the table anymore
