Man I love black n roll but this band should never ever do that

Satyricon ruined black n roll for me. That band annoys me a lot. I mean "Black Lava" sounds like baklava everytime I hear it and that's somewhat comical, but even their guitar melodies on Shadowthrone drive me up a wall. They seem performative and weightless compared to the visceral bm that I really enjoy.

This album is leaps and bounds better than that Satyricon self-titled garbage. Satyricon became a joke fashion show band shadow of its formerly tolerable self. LoM hasn't fallen off yet at least.
