a very mid album, bleakly minimal like a brick estate's iron rod foundation

williamson is hilarious, truly an anomaly of a band, two working class musicians who only formed sleaford mods in their 40's and somehow it became popular unlike any the stuff they did for 20 years before, they're one of those bands you're happy to see succeed considering their life before

there's not much like the mods, unique. some disagree but i find them very distinct

not familiar with the original, but the Pet Shop Boys cover they just dropped is pretty dope
