I liked when they were post-ier on the last album but I get that I can’t have that expectation in this genre. Oh well…not my thing but surely someone’s

Im loving this but yeah I think i do prefer their last album where it had fewer tracks but broader atmosphere. That being said there are some excellent post metal moments here with Eyes to the burning skies, bloodsprings.

Edit: this is a 4 but due to blatent fanboyism its getting that extra .5 from me.

These guys are solid af

I tried to mean that the little switch to the fem vocals on Eyes to Burning Skies are very welcome and imo from that song onwards they show how creatively free they can be, the album goes a little more postish, I really like those little twists a little away from their black punk gaze formula, which is already awesome.

Not to mention the closer's ending - pure bliss for me

Hmm, thinking I may prefer pretty much everything else they’ve done to this so far. Lacking something. I’ll try again later.

Need to check this, never really hit home with me, Saw them play once in front of 6 people was ridiculously loud and the strobes made me half blind. Was cool tho
