gotta say for an enslaved album I'm not too impressed on the first two listens but I'm banking on this being more of a grower than a shower, as many of their records have been.

Looking forward to this. Last couple albums from this guys were a letdown. Actually they haven't been all that great since Axioma. Hoping this has some fresh stuff that still kicks ass.

The music and the performance is rock solid proggy metal... but if I didn't know who I was listening to I never would've guessed Enslaved. I don't hear even a hint of the iconic style they built up in the previous decade.
