I saw them recently and Tweedy looked like the Yeti.
Still a fantastic record.

Best Wilco album, and one of the better albums of the 21st Century. I wonder how many people have stood along the river in Chicago and tried to photograph those buildings at the perfect angle...I hope I'm not the only one.
I think the opening line to "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" is "I am an American aquarium drinker."

This sounds, to me, like a bland Beulah album for the most part. There are a few nice songs, particularly "I'm the Man Who Loves You," but this is by no means a masterpiece or one of the best of the decade/century or even that year. And having listened to some of their more recent albums I'm inclined to think that Jay Bennett leaving this band was a good thing.
