yeah I kinda can't believe Stove only has one album out, that dude should be huge lmao
I also find it interesting that Super Tecmo seems to get way more attention here than Bo Jackson. I like both but it's just funny to me

That first Stove God album slaps, the Roc Marciano production was spot on. He has a second one that came out only via his website in 2021, I haven’t found it anywhere but I know it exists. Also, I second Ro’s advice to check out Manager On MacNichols, top class album

"I also find it interesting that Super Tecmo seems to get way more attention here than Bo Jackson. I like both but it's just funny to me"
Both are great albums, but there's something about the short run time of Super Tecmo Bo that has me go back to it way more often, and that was just extra tracks from the Bo Jackson session.
Stove God's feature on Diamond Dallas from the Bo Jackson record is so good

word gonna have to track down that second Stove God for sure. if i can find all Mach Hommy's shit surely I can find that lol
and I usually just play Bo Jackson and Super Tec back to back lmao but yeah the quality gap is pretty small. Moth in the Flame is probably the best song between both though

“ After total silence about the album, on January 23, 2023, the album finally saw a public release via BandCamp. That same day, the album was removed with Cooks stating on twitter, “It’s not real.” This confirms that Stove had not approved the release through BandCamp.”
Might not be a legit version, from what I’ve read nobody has the real version as he only put seven copies up on his website for $1,000,000 a piece and took the site down shortly after

thought that meant more the release through bandcamp wasn't approved by him rather than the actual music being fake? you get this kinda stuff happening on bandcamp sometimes lol, I bought the new Yachty there and it's the legit album but the page is gone now so I have the sense it wasn't quite kosher lmao
I guess I'll spin it later today and find out. the comments on the RYM page sure made it sound like the real album was out tho. if only someone would do that for that Wu-Tang album lol

I definitely wanna hear the Wu-Tang album. Funny thing is had it not been that super rare release I probably would have held off on listening to it for a long time lol

It's solid enough. His alchemist produced albums is where it's at tho. No surprises. Prob the best hip hop producer of the past decade doesn't get much more top tier than alchemist on the beats

Yeah that happened with Jai Paul and his stolen laptop (allegedly), but maybe this is the legit thing. I’ll be searching it tonight and peeping soon
