Good example of a band that naturally has an expiration date.

Great album; tilting between a 4.5 or a 5 by the minute.

Hell yeah. If it grows on me anymore I could definitely understand how a 5 is possible. Need to jam again today.

Definitely not going to listen to this as Die For The Government was all the anti flag I ever needed, but damn the review summary line for this cracked me up.

This band fell asleep at the wheel, both creatively and ideologically. Truly a relic of a bygone era. There's nothing exciting or edgy about this stuff anymore. All that aside, I don't think this could be any more bland if they tried. There isn't a single redeeming quality about this entire record.

Political outrage music this on-the-nose usually makes me want to take a toaster bath. Shit is cringe incarnate.

fun fact: For Blood and Empire was one of the first CDs I ever owned when I was in grade 5. I walked to the mall and bought it myself with the measly allowance my parents gave me. I copied multiple big political words from the lyric book for an english class assignment and then my dad got a call from the teachers wondering why an 11 year old was writing about anarchists, communists, and socialists.

it low key makes me happy to see people here enjoying this release. I might give it a go for old times sake.

Great review. This band needs to stop, their output in recent years has been terrible to say the least

This isn't really an album. It's a project with members of Killswitch Engage, Rise Against, Silverstein, and 6 or so people from other bands. 3 or 4 Anti Flag songs without those other people.

Even on the albums people like by this band I kind of thought every song sounded indistinguishable from every other, like a sitcom writer's idea of a punk band. Not my thing at all.

Curious if anyone ever liked The Unseen? They released a new album this week too.
