Interesting opinions! this was the first Opeth album I heard that immediately clicked when I was younger. I found MAYH to be a much more confusing/challenging listen when I was first getting into metal, but this album just pulled me in and never let go. 18 years later this is still such an amazing album, despite its flaws

MAYH took me almost as long as this one to get into. It just hit me someday how great it is, now it's my fav along with GR.
