I hate it that it's almost impossible to get some classics with the original mastering / production. Hate this remastered / remixed bs... I want to hear how it's been intended to sound in the first place.

agree with this. It's impossible to find the original records on sale nowadays, and the bad thing is that for some songs they re-recorded vocals (think to "Take No Prisoners")

For me the vox are an essential part of the great listening experience here, no snarling Dave vocals, no Megadeth.

they were never good vox but when everything sounds rougher they actually fit with the music and the aggression of it. scrub off all the grime and you get clean guitars and a dude with a stuffed nose yelling at you.

thank you. yeah he doesn't have a pretty voice but in the context of the music his vox are perfect. wouldn't be megadeth otherwise
