Can someone explain, how is 'Lavender Haze' queer-baiting?

To be honest, I know nothing about Tay-Tay's dating history aside from including some famous actors, but I thought it meant a honeymoon period of falling in love.

ive always found her to be incredibly inauthentic (which i mean, is a bit of a redundant criticism seeming as it could be applied to most of the popospherical beings and also we could talk about authenticity all year and wring out our favourite op-eds)

Jeez. I had no idea about all this. I was just Googling around and I see what you mean in the past with all the imagery. I guess the intention was to come across as an ally, which is probably the case but at the same time, some of these pictures might say a different thing on the surface. butterfly wings with a rainbow flag on them? Hmm.
As someone who does not have any knowledge of Swiftt's goings on outside of some of her pop music, I just thought she was saying she found this new guy and she hopes that the feelings she has for him now will stay that way.
But when you couple it with her imagery, coding in the word Lavender, I can see how it would steer that impression. At most, I only know about one of her heated relationships with some actor who she is on pretty bad terms with, I think. I can't remember who it is.

Sort of "here comes pride so all the giant marketing companies update their profile icon" vibes, right?
Didn't know this about Tay-Tay, to be honest. As an outsider, I only ever hear whenever she has a song supposedly about a famous guy that ended on bad terms, so I assumed she was just straight and that Lavender Haze was as I mentioned.
Pop music culture has such a mad web of meta narrative. XD

It is funny how a lot of the songs here are either about her being in love and wanting that love to last or falling out of love, sometimes because people keep asking about her love life. But it's like... that's what the songs here are about.
To be fair, there are a number of songs about the price of fame as well. So, I am being facetious. XD

It would be kind of lame to be a 'brand'. Not just working for a brand but actually 'be' that brand itself. It would be exhausting keeping up those appearances.

The new Carly album was produced by Rostam, right? He has made some less polished and broken sounding records in the past. That collaboration record he did with Hamilton Leithauser is great.

Lol I will say that this record isn't doing anything for me but I am partial to a Carly song here and there.
I don't know what it is with Taylor's music. It just doesn't resonate with me at all.
