Just got to check this.
Real “I’m the main character” energy emanating from it.

Totally true, this album is boring and monotonous, maybe if you are a big fan, you will like it, but for me is a big fiasco.

@Kompy
Thanks for posting that! I loved it

his review is clearly biased though he just hates on it cause it’s a taylor swift album that’s why this site doesn’t get taken seriously
|
| |
While his review is certainly biased (I’ve no issue with that), I thought Sput wasn’t taken seriously because of a well-planned suppression conspiracy enacted because the reviewers couldn’t be bought out to give Imagine Dragons and other dumpster-juice inflated reviews, so the next best option was to make sure nobody counted the reviews in any semi-serious capacity besides the user base they couldn’t take over from the outside?
Or because we don’t have a mobile site
Either way, I hope y’all have a good night! (Or morning, or afternoon, or evening)

I was so looking forward to it. I "like" (I had insomnia several times) idea and topic with Midnights, but this record from Taylor is boring as f*ck... :/
Best song - Anti-Hero.

There's room in my heart for both Swift and CRJ.

the lyrics are a slay most of the time, the music... not so much.
You know, i think the only reason Metacritic critical reviewers (yes, those fiends...) only acclaimed this album into oblivion is 1. hype hype hype and 2. because its above the extremely large and rather homogenous average which takes up like most of 80% of new music these days. Im pretty sure most critics will slam a 8 or 9 on anything that isn't the same old bullshit. I mean tbh this album isn't, but its also not 9/10 worthy holy fuck.
Hey though, whatever. I'll take this over the aforementioned 80%.
I'll spare my twopence on this album for a review. possibly.

it is a little sus that you rated it 0.1 lower than the lowest score on metacritic tho

Still haven't checked out bonus songs. Maroon is my fav on standard tracklist so far.

Gonna have to listen to this a bit more, but I didn’t want to be this disappointed 😔
I think I want more “By the Way, I Forgive You” and this feels too twee and.. mid, I guess? Normally I can be fine with that, but this gonna need to grow or something
|
| |
I don’t like the instrumental/beat aspects of this. They’re so frustratingly bland and the minimalism isn’t well done and doesn’t offer anything here that a bunch of other approaches wouldn’t do infinitely better
|
| |
Would love to watch the average of this drop below original Red's just saying
|
| |
Oh this stupid Sputnik music sh’t is still giving bad reviews for women? I’m not surprised, you always believe you’re relevant and rebel, but WTF you think you are? Your reviews are poor and lame. Get over Taylor Swift.

This review would suddenly become better with a higher rating, true

Also, pos Johnny! Good review
