C&C is still my fave, yeah

Anyone who likes Boredoms, or Ween's 1990-1992 stuff, should check Ween's collab with Boredoms called Z-Rock Hawaii by Z-Rock Hawaii

Under no circumstances should you check guava next

If you like this check Mollusk, then Chocolate & Cheese, then White Pepper, and if you're hooked by then check their first three in order

Mollusk is the safest next step, agreed

Chocolate and Cheese is a masterpiece so that's also a good next step

This is the best Ween album. Followed by C&C and The Mollusk. This might be an unpopular opinion but I’m partial to 12 Golden Country Greats too

12GCG is rlly good but it's hard to recommend since it's such an outlier in their discog yanno?

Mollusk is clearly their best. Even the band thinks so. This is definitely second place though. Big fleshed out tunes on this one that are professionally performed. And even some of their best songs like Zoloft, Happy Colored Marbles and The Argus.

But the Mollusk taps into the pleasure principle in a way their other albums fall short of. The tones on that album... might as well be adderall the way it makes my serotonin flow.

Oh shit also you gotta check the Caesar demos if you like Quebec, it's literally a full album of songs that got cut from Quebec and it's almost as good

All Ween is good Ween. It took me years to get into them, but once I did, oh boy. When I'm in a Ween phase it feels like there's no other band that I need - they cover so much ground. I admittedly prefer their mid-late period over their early, but I still love those Brown ass first 3 albums too. Such a wonderful band once you realize you should Hail Boognish

Oh yeah that's a really cool video, probably better than most of their actual official videos.
