I would not compare this to Lightning Bug, artists in the rec by reviewer section do a good job of describing this sound I’d say.
This is also way better than Lightning Bug.

Also agree that this is probably better as a whole than any of Lightning Bug's releases, although that band rules.

I do think Florist has some sonic connection to this album, but they scratch slightly different itches for me. Both will probably make my top 25 for the year.

Florist I liked a lot but ended up not connecting with any of the songs despite a number of listens. Early days for this but I find myself more more taken by this. Florist was rambly and more naturalistic, this is very tight.
