Okay I didn’t understand luci’s comment about the closer before I heard the song and now I understand it even less since I’ve heard it. Is it supposed to be some Reddit anti-breeder shit?

saw some people say sister cities was disappointing compared to this...why do people hate that album?

the horrible production is a valid thing to criticize but imo it's their second best behind TGG

Songs About Death has some really good ideas and moments but it sounds awkward and it drags

My interpretation is that song is supposed to be an interlude. I know it’s song length but there’s no chorus and it’s basically a commentary on the rest of the album/their career. It’s not a song I’d like on a shuffled playlist but within the context of the full album I think it does have a place

I will say, the keys on Songs About Death are done so well, so tasteful and have a nice tense staccato vibe

Summer clothes is great. I do think it’s one of their weaker bridges but i love the verses and choruses, especially the final one where he’s belting it out

Sometimes, something bee-related will make me think of Macaulay Culkin‘s character in My Girl. I laugh, then feel bad

i think Armor for Sleep's got some real competition with this one now. now we just need a new MCR record for my 2022 to be complete.

It’s got so much to offer. I hate driving in the city, though. I don’t know how anyone tolerates it
