Mannnn they removed the 2008 EP from Spotify (maybe I’m noticing this late)
I’ve been really digging Chinese Organ Thieves lately so I’m bummed

I was just playing Madden 06 the other day and Ink played and it reminded me just how much EA soundtracks slapped back in the 2000s.

Those soundtracks kicked ass for real though. Booting the game up and instantly hearing bfmv’s 4 words got me hyped every time lol

But yeah putting songs like Ink on the official soundtrack was a bold move at the time, I like to believe the person who made those playlists is a sput user…

I learned about a handful of my favorite bands through the NHL soundtracks from 2003 - 2009. EA used to know their shit. It's sad seeing the soundtracks now but I also stopped buying sports games a decade ago.

Racing game soundtracks from the PS2 era was my childhood. The Burnout soundtracks basically shaped my music taste for life.

This unironically gave 8 year old me nightmares
As a 16 year old at the time, this was so cool.

Love this more and more every time I go back to it. Nothing quite like this out there. Such a weird album, but in the best possible way.

yeah and so sad the band kinda imploded after this. it felt like a fresh new chapter but it wound up being one of the last nails in the coffin

Big sad. I think they unlocked their true potential with this but apparently it flopped hard commercially.

I mean, there's a ton of stuff from after this album that's floating around out there but most of it either sucks or is a demo. IMO, the World Of Violence demos should have been the next album, it was just a very natural extension of this sound. Not releasing it was a huge mistake

Phantasma is worth checking out too since its got some of the bite this album has. Nothing ever really comes close to this tho. This is just too unique.

The way that article put it all together for 1/4th the time im rolling my eyes at disturbed but finch kinda nearly wipes their blame out. Either deserve 3/4th or all the blame

Phantasma is ok, it has its moments but it has nothing on this, WOV or S/T. Hopeless Host is still one of the most emotional songs I've ever heard. The end of that one always sticks with me, so intense
