this isnt fundamentally bad at all. Miss May I clearly have an established vibe they're going for. But at this point I'm tiring of the complete lack of progression. It's the same album they've been writing since their debut. At least At Heart had "Ballad of a Broken Man" and Rise of the Lion had "Gone."

And that 2000’s sound just feels so good.

I'm with you man, this is a blast front to back. This is pretty much a how-to-metalcore record. Nothing new, just really really well done. Also, those vocals are ferocious.
