Metal Meltdown is one of my favorite Priest songs in general. So wild and off-the-wall for them

here comes the metal meltdown*

On another note, it took me a long time to realize how passionate I am about music.

Like, I enjoy a number of things, but music is one of the 2 I'm really passionate about.

with all the talk about the new one i'd figure i'd check this out and give classic stuff a shot. this is the first classic metal album i've ever jammed. actually love the hell out of this. t/t is fucking amazing.

I'm not huge into "classic" heavy metal either tbh but Priest is amazing.

I do love what I've heard from Maiden also and Sabbath's first few albums too but I haven't jammed nearly enough. I went from SOAD and Slipknot straight into bm and dm lol.

Early Queen's awesome. Some might not call 'em metal but they've the epic Stone Cold Crazy riff.

Deep Purple were pretty much co-creators of metal, and my fave metal band, as well as fave band. Though again, some might not call them metal.

I've seen "proto-metal" thrown around for Purple, Zeppelin, and Sabbath. Checks out. "Speed King", "Highway Star", and "Fireball" are metal tracks if anything by early Priest is.

Black Sabbath is the first full blown metal band. Others dabbled with the sound, but Sabbath was the first group to fully commit to it.

Overblown. Delightfully so, but still

Intrigued to see what they’ve become, but also not really

Afraid to revisit.
