Typically something like this would get on my nerves but this has a magic that just makes it all work. It feels like a living, breathing entity with all the ways it shifts and morphs, never adhering to any conventions of formula. And it is so fun. First album this year to make me laugh from pure joy at how exciting it is.

Not much information out there on nouns current lineup.
From what I can gather, it's just the one person, Hunter Mann, who created this album in his living room, with a lot of help from all the guest artists. It also looks like he has some musicians that help when he's doing live shows.
There was a me too accusation surrounding Hunter, that surfaced on the web a few years ago. There were speculations, he said/she said, and deleted posts. So unsure what came of this.
Apparently lawyers were involved, so hopefully this was sorted out by the legal system.

Finally got around to giving this a listen and it is glorious. Idk why this band works for me when other chaotic stuff like this usually doesn’t but I’m glad for it regardless. Guess I need to check their first two albums as had only heard Lonely Place before this.
