Screen Time Overload gives me heavy Eternity Forever vibes

I feel like if Kurt wasn't singing here we might not even be calling it swancore, sounds more like a modern day retelling of Closure in Moscow's First Temple, just some really good progressive post hardcore with its guitar roots in TMV's more straightforward parts.

To Only a Few at First and Malfunctioning Parts are the two clear weak spots on the album but the rest is great. I'll probably end up settling on a 4.

The names of the songs on this album are kind of pissing me off...

Accurate. I just wanted to say that we slowly lose hope for things to come has a killer chorus, but it makes me feel like I shouldn't even be listening to this.

I hate the song titles lol but I'm a big fan of the album. Definitely has potential to grow to a 4.5. Fucking choruses on this thing are crazy ear worms.

"is HTS the only swancore band still trucking (and has been for a while) that everyone doesn't shit on?"
yeah i mean A Lot Like Birds stole the show, then put out one mid album and decided 'y'know we're done here'
every swancore album I hear I hope it captures a fragment of the magic of No Place

This is way better than No Place. With ALLB I always felt like Kurt and Joseph carried the band anyways.

Probably going to make a playlist with all of the Kurt albums (DGD, Happiness, Conversation, No Place, Royal Coda, etc) and just run through all of it this week. Sounds like a good time lol.

but but but Conversation Piece is better than No Place

Thematically, No Place is better. Musically, Conversation Piece might edge out No Place.
