I think people are not losing their shit about his singing voice only because we live in an era of singing high, ppl only care about high notes and nothing else, pretty much. That's why everyone's simping for Christian Älvestam for example, while Dan Swano himself said that the dude doesn't sound that good when he sings high. Stanne doesn't even really try, so he seems a bit restricted, it's easier to make a note sound emotional if it's higher after all

"Mikael has a decent singing voice. Nothing to write home about. I like his singing alright but I've never been like "wow he's totally killing it here"



My wife and I were watching Where Death is Most Alive the other night, and when Inside the Particle Storm kicked in we both said "Wow he's totally killing it here!" ;)

Was finally able to give it 4 back to back spins. Definitely a solid debut, really has a lot of Clayman vibe to the guitar melodies. No less than a 4.0 for me. I'm a little biased but really looking forward to what they do next.

Idk if you can compare the two musically but I’m getting a bigger buzz out of new AE. That a 4.0, this a 3.3 atm. This is good, Gateways into A Truth Worth Dying For is a nice 1-2

Kusangii has been hating on this since day one. Album rules from start to finish, give or take In Broken Trust, that one doesn't do a whole lot for me. Also, what, this whole album is peppered with Jesper riffs and melodies? I could use more personally, but this album delivers the goods.
