"Vast Reaches Unclaimed" by Majesties is everything I hoped The Halo Effect would be. If you're dying for that old school baroque In Flames and Dark Tranquillity, go listen now.

Majesties is definitely early In Flames worship.

The Halo Effect seems to be going for the sound In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Soilwork, etc... had between 2002 - 2008, which is probably my least favorite era for a lot of those bands.

To be fair, DT had some banger releases during that time period.

I see. Just checked it myself and I'm inclined to agree. It's an okay song, but nothing too memorable.
