For sure Jaq, that’s what separates this from a lot of the more recent disso-metal pack for me. We can’t be having Ulcerate or DSO clones for eternity.
I like the post-punk leanings, vox certainly take a bit of getting used to, but against all odds it works. It’ll be interesting to see if other bands use any of their less well-trodden influences and contort / build upon them, perhaps yielding unique results.
