'Thundercat called, he wants his album cover back'
I know this is what people have been referencing, but honestly it reminds me more of Down I Go's last LP cover (even though it's in black and white).

did someone say down i go? down i go?
down i go are working on their next album
down i go were meant to play arctangent this year as their first live gig in many years but they had to drop out to carry on working on the next record
i love down i go

This has some cool moments and is definitely well produced considering how it changes things up regularly. However I'm not completely sold on the chuggier mid-tempo-ish moments (probably supposed to provide 'respite' or something)... although perhaps this requires further inspection.

easy Mort summon, lol
And yes I should maybe actually listen to them properly, instead of relying on my vague This Is Disastercore memories of yesteryear. You are a constant reminder of my ongoing failure to do so.

i have a habit of getting obsessed with bands and down i go were a pretty strong obsession for a while
luv them, unsung heroes ok uk post hardcore. i can only hope my many reviews for them has done something for their exposure
and yeh check the rest of their shizz you silly billy
and yeah im not sure about the less grindy moments on this but from what ive heard its still good. very few grind bands know how to slow things down really well. pig destroyer on Prowler in the Yard have quite a few great slow moments tho

Yeah I'm not against slowing things down, I usually welcome it in grind considering how much of it is a homogenous slog that get tiresome after a few minutes - I'm just yet to be convinced by the way in which they've achieved that here.
'and yeh check the rest of their shizz you silly billy'
at my current rate of 'getting around to things', they should be coming right up (in a few months)

Wtf are these skeptic folks are on?
This shit rules. Honestly shake things up, together with PD and FoH. Def not an homogenous slog.
This thing has some of the coolest punk hxc and post hxc cuts from comeback kid (turn it around and wake the dead era) to converge and I'm sure some other cool punk bands yall know and I dont lol
It also sticks to a sound and an own ID, cool atmosphere, narrative and what? Are these emotions I feel? In grindcore? Gtfo it almost goes blackgaze at times. Get a grip folks
