Ok I need to listen to this now. All this beef and disagreement about its quality made me too curious at this point

Don't worry, they're from Ukraine.

Could this be Boney metal? Only one way to find out I guess… Is there a track rec to sample?

As genre fusions go I never feel with these lads that they’ve landed on one that JUST HAD TO HAPPEN - the fact they do a solid job shows they have talent but I’m not totally convinced the jazz n the metal really connect to the point that even when one element is missing you still feel it there in spirit, that the band’s full identity is ever present.
For me the album is too much and becomes a trudge after about 35 minutes.
The more ‘goth’ vocals are a strange inclusion at times.
I don’t think you’ll dislike this Boney, but I’m not predicting it’ll totally work for you either :/

I enjoyed this but thinking it may have peaked early, still at least this one feels like one cohesive album unlike their last effort - even if it doesn’t feel quite like a necessary blend of styles as Doof alluded to.

^^^ infinite respect for these guys

Rules hard, will take a lot of listens to wrap my head around compared to Love Exchange Failure. Also the vocalist sounds really similar to Marcus from Heaven Shall Burn on this album.
