Sam, Connor, and Contrast definitely contributed to this album and the Prologue stuff. They had a different drummer and guitar player for the standalone singles pre 2021, and those two left on bad terms unfortunately. Was a pretty ugly breakup considering the old drummer was a really good childhood friend of Olli.

Oh okay, that was always the impression that I had.
Alright I’m not really worried about a follow up now.

Yeah, definitely no need to worry. Olli is the mastermind anyways, it's all his vision from the music to the visuals. The new bassist (can't remember his name) is awesome too and he does some rad backing vocals. Hopefully he'll incorporate some of that into the new album

Yeah he really added a lot when I saw them live. You can really hear it on the live version of sweet on Vol 2

Haven't been able to stop listening to Push Rope lately. I got a new guitar and audio interface and have more or less been using Push Rope as the song to dial in my tone. Shit's fun to play even if it's easy as sin.

It’s just ridiculously fun to play lol. I’ve only learned that, sweet, and clean and they’re all just a lot of fun. I think the simplicity helps for sure but all of those songs still have enough going on for it to not get boring
When I finally get off my ass and start playing again I’d like to learn Courtney and Lye Solution. I need tabs to learn but just by ear those two definitely sound more challenging

DiSinter is unbelievably fun to play
Also, even though it's not on here, my favorite to play from them is for the attention of...

cubicle sounds like it would be a ton of fun to play on guitar

I definitely want to learn for the attention of... since it's pretty chaotic. Been working on DiSinster a bit too but man, those harmonics trip me up a bit trying to be accurate.
There's this dude Jamie Howard (Post Cover too) on YouTube that has some good Static Dress covers. He did a video of Courtney that I'll probably use to figure out the song, which is what I did for Push Rope.

yeah I didn’t wanna be the first to mention those fucking pinch harmonics lol
The rest of the song sounds fun and I love that track but if I learned it I would literally just skip the harmonics

I gotta practice drums to this album someday

They're all natural harmonics so it's not too bad - certainly not as hard as hitting a bunch of pinched harmonics would be. I just suck at playing natural harmonics accurately if I have to do them quickly like in DiSinter.

Sam has done a few drum playthroughs, I wish Contrast would do a guitar playthrough or two.

Can I put anybody onto Crush++?
They have that classic mid-2000s mallcore sound. They've been releasing some singles for a while but finally dropped an album.

Their song Like a Fever Dream has a pretty nasty isetmyfriendsonfire/TDWP/A!A! breakdown in it.
