This is dumb as hell to even bring up but it has stuck in my mind for literally like a decade, but there was this girl in my class that would never shut the fuck up about the Beatles, and she knew what kind of music I was into and one day just started talking about how great Paul McCartney was, how he played like a 4 hour concert at Busch Stadium and how none of my bands could do that.
And I’m just sitting here like, yeah, you’re right. And I don’t want any of my favorite bands to do that. Nobody wants fucking hardcore and grind bands playing four hour sets like jfc you’re delusional lmao
