"I haven’t heard that drake song but dude couldn’t even wash on t-swizz let’s be real"

Didn't he also have a pretty ass verse on a Maroon 5 song too? Granted every guest verse Maroon 5 has is bad so maybe not fully his fault but still

agree with pots. first part of U is awesome but when he starts crying with that horrible bottle sound effect it’s just bad

I’m scared to check this out.

Mad City and Butterfly are two of my favourite hip hop albums of the last whatever many years, but DAMN was a massive step down in my opinion.

Given it a few listens and it's less scatterbrained than Damn and certainly has some of Kendrick's best moments however at the same time it doesn't really have much staying power for me. Worldwide Steppers, We Cry Together, Crown, Mother I Sober and Auntie Diaries all give me the same vibe as U where the song is very entrancing and you're hanging on every word but I have little desire to return back or even listen to the whole thing again. Too many songs are stripped back that there's nothing much to return to when you've got the message of what the song is about.

Mainly been coming back to Father Time, Purple Hearts and Silent Hill

I wanted to love this but man, the lyrics are sometimes cool but the songs themselves are mostly weak. Auntie Diaries was great though.

one last slate but kendrick really did make a song about sexual assault and then had kodak black, a rapist, on the album
